It takes over 100 volunteers to make this event a fun and safe event for all the kids.  Volunteer opportunities are available during the following times:

  • Friday Evening (between 4:30pm-8:00pm): 
    • Packet-Pickup/late registration
    • Course Setup
  • Race Day (between 7:00am-12:00pm) during the event itself
    • Setup and Body marking
    • Staging Swimmers/Bullpen
    • Transition area
    • Bike Route/Road Guards
    • Run Course/Aid Station
    • Finish Line
    • Awards
    • Tear-down and cleanup

Volunteering Details:

Friday night volunteers are encouraged to arrive by 4:30 pm,earlier is even better.  Racers start arriving before 5 pm for packet pick up and we want to have you ready to go

Saturday volunteers arrive in two shifts 7 am and 7:45 am.  Please arrive early enough to park and meet at the volunteer HQ  on time.

The Volunteer HQ is located at the north most pavilion as indicated on the map.

Volunteer Parking is Marked in blue on the map.  There will be no access in or out of those parking areas from 8:45AM until the last racer is finished.  If you need to leave early please park off site.

We will have shirts for new volunteers.  Volunteers with companies, schools or other groups are welcome to wear their group’s shirts.
